Australian Idol fans can see its youngest ever winner, Casey Donovan, perform some of her ARIA Award and Deadly Award tunes. If you can't stand Australian Idol, then there's Australia’s Got Talent sensation Matty Shields laughable pole dancing routine. There will be also be loads of other stuff as well including a kids' zone with a song writing workshop. If you are still not quite convinced we will throw something else at you, it is a free event.

How cold is it? I'll tell you how cold it is! It is so cold that Bondi, world famous Bondi Beach, is icing up. That's right! It is so cold you could go ice skating. Well, yes, it's actually the start of the Sydney Winter Festival so there will be an skating rink to state on. But you don't have to tell anyone though. You were in Bondi, it was icy so you went ice skating. Just get photo evidence as there is a good chance you won't be believed - it doesn't get that cold in Sydney, does it(?)

Winter Magic Festival - Katoomba - Saturday, 23rd June

It is getting a bit nippy and chilly out there which means it is time to party on up to Katoomba, a place designed for winter. Tomorrow heralds the start of Katoomba's Winter Festival with a myriad of artists, musicians, dancers, drummers and choirs. Everybody who takes part, and everyone who visits, is encouraged to dress in costume, just make sure yours is a warm one.
