Christmas in Sydney Rhyme

Christmas comes just a once a year,
The turkey's are in hiding,
But we're all full of cheer,
The Christmas bells are ringing,
For Santa's nearly here!
The presents still need presenting,
And the dog is getting fat,
For there's no time for walkies,
We're far too busy for that,
Yet soon the Christmas rush'll be done,
The kids'll be bored, and looking for fun.
So check out these events and things to do,
And maybe take the dog to one or two.
If you can, it can be pretty hard to transport your pet anywhere without a car:
Whether you own a pet or not we wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Useful links for the holidays:
And don't forget the top 100 plus list:
Or if you're travellling north check this out (now with video):

They know that when there's snow on the mountains you Ski. Which is kind of handy as it's the start of the Ski Season.

Ruben Guthrie Sydney Film Festival

“By day, 29-year-old Ruben Guthrie is the wunderkind creative at one of Sydney’s hottest boutique ad agencies; by night, he is one of Sydney’s most notorious party boys until he jumps off a hotel roof into a wading pool and nearly kills himself.”
The film is called Ruben Guthrie and opens this year’s Sydney Film Festival. It is all about Sydney’s night life, the pubs, the bars and a quest not to frequent them.  A warts and all side to the ‘good life’. The City of Sydney gives an out of character dark and moody performance. Ruben Guthrie is a serious film with some fun moments to lighten the mood.
Aspire for 'big beautiful houses, great bodies and self-belief' but don't miss out on the 'real stuff'. And:
"People might look at their own families and how addiction has affected their own lives, and maybe take a little moment to consider the national pastime, which is getting smashed."
Can but drink to that.
