Life’s a Beach at the Bondi Pavilion Gallery in Sydney

Life’s a Beach – Bondi Pavilion Gallery – Sunday, 31st January to Sunday 27th March

Life’s a Beach commences today at Bondi. This is a special exhibition allowing us a look at the seaside rituals and quirks of many countries that reside around world's oceans. The images allow us to compare how different cultures treat time by the sea. When you've had your fill take a few steps outside and, if you're lucky, you'll get to observe some of Bondi's quirks.

Australia Day Long Weekend in Sydney

Australia Day – Tuesday, 26th January

The Australia Day long weekend (if you take the Monday off that is) provides us with many ways to celebrate. Most people will head towards the harbour but you don't have to follow that crowd, there will be many more crowds heading in many directions. Follow the link below for more details.

The Sydney Festival – the last days

The Sydney Festival ends on Australia Day. Some say Sydney doesn't really need it anymore - that it has had its time. Prove them wrong and enjoy the delights in store.

Things to do over the School Holidays

Australia Day also marks the end, or close to the end of the School Holidays. But there's still much to done.

Short and Sweet in Sydney

Short and Sweet – Wednesday, 6th January to Sunday, 13th March

Have you ever been stuck in a theatre wondering when you’ll get out, perhaps thinking about getting home or what to do the next day but not much about what’s going on in front of you? Well that’s unlikely to happen at Short and Sweet unless your attention span can be measured in seconds in which case you probably stopped reading already. Ten minute plays, YES just 10 minutes. Like mini choc bars these mini theatrical masterpieces will leave you wanting more. You might even say “bite-sized dramatic treats!” but I wouldn’t. :)
