Festival of Dangerous Ideas - Sydney

Festival of Dangerous Ideas - 30th August - 31st August

The end of winter is a dangerous time for it's the time of the Festival of Dangerous Ideas. Ideas can torment, confound and keep us awake at night. The right idea has limitless potential and is mightier than any sword. So is it a good idea to go? I'm afraid so:

Sydney will be turned a delightful shade of Orange for the day as the good folk of one of Australia's favourite country towns (Orange) comes to Sydney. Like all good guests they will be bringing some yummy treats with them including wonderful wine, great tasting food and an open invitation to come visit them some time and maybe stay awhile.

August in Sydney

There's a bit on in August including the Story of the Unfolding Planet at Customs House which "artfully captures the arresting landscapes and faces of climate change". If the potential end of the human-race doesn't do it for you, there's sweaty heart break hill (City2Surf) or Balmoral fine wine swill and there's things for kids to do too, including a trip to the zoo, so don't stay home even if it's a little chilly, because the time is right for having fun in the city.
