Trop Fest in Sydney

Trop Fest at Centennial Park in Sydney

The biggest short film festival of them all that we call Trop Fest is on again next weekend. I say again as it will be the second Trop Fest we have enjoyed this year. The last one took place in February at the Domain. Follow the link below for more details:

Santa Fest in Sydney

Santa Fest in Darling Harbour in Sydney

Santa Claus is right across Darling Harbour at the moment from the Harbourside to the water and beyond. Santas are festering everywhere. Christmas has begun in Darling Harbour and it isn't going anywhere until the fat man in the white beard sings - or rather delivers.

Newtown Festival in Sydney

Should you go to the Newtown Festival in Sydney?

If you have never experienced a Newtown Festival then you have to go. You have to go not for the music, although the music is entertaining, new and fresh, not for the food, although the food is tasty, and spicy and yummy, not for the art and craft that is interesting, thought provoking and challenging and not for the great kids zone and associated things to do. No, not for any or all of these things should you venture into Newtown this Sunday. Go for the people, go for the vibe and the smiling faces. Go for the atmosphere, the delicious smells and alluring sights and sounds. You go to experience Newtown and you go to have a good time.
